Calontir Silent HeraldryGreetings and Welcome!
What Calontir needs the most right now are Silent Heralds. Volunteers who are willing to step right up and SIGN!! My goal is to have at least one Silent Herald for each region in Calontir since it is often not feasible to expect a silent herald to travel more than 3 hours from his/her home for an event. So, even if you can only sign a little bit, please consider volunteering! To a deaf (or hard-of-hearing) person, just the attempt to converse with them is an amazing thing and shows that we care about them. If you can, please email me at goodhand@calontir.org and let me know of your interest so that I can include you in my report.
We are currently working on a Calontir Silent Herald Manual. For right now, we have a bit of information included in the Calontir Herald’s Handbook (http://www.modaruniversity.org/heraldry/Calontir-Heralds-Handbook-3rd-edition.pdf). I fully support the use of other kingdom’s manuals until we can finalize a manual specifically for Calontir.
